Jacob A. Busey

I was born in West Germany towards the end of the Cold War to an Army family and upon returning stateside, I spent the rest of my childhood in North Carolina. I initially started undergrad at East Carolina University, where I completed two years of studies. In 2012 I decided to join the United States Marine Core, where I served as an Intelligence Specialist for five years. While in the Marines, I was deployed to the South Pacific, traveled to a dozen countries, and sailed about 8,000 miles. After I finished my time in the Marines, I continued my studies at National University in San Diego where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in History. I went to Charleston School of Law and graduated in May 2022 with my Juris Doctorate Degree. In my personal time, I enjoy collecting books, model ships, and military memorabilia, as well as lifting, playing tennis, and golfing. I have been married for nearly 10 years, we have a German Shepherd and are expecting our first child later in 2023
