Biography
I have always known that I wanted my future job to help others. Growing up I had friends and family who went through divorces and I saw how their legal counsel assisted them throughout the process, which sparked my interest in Family Law.
I grew up in Pinehurst, NC and attended North Carolina State University where I double majored in Criminology and Political Science. While at North Carolina State University, I participated in Shack-A-Thon to help raise money for Habitat for Humanity and volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). Upon graduating, I moved to Charlotte, NC and obtained my Paralegal Certificate, from Central Piedmont Community College.
While studying to achieve my Paralegal Certificate, I worked at a law firm that specialized in Litigation, Personal Injury, and Construction Law which stressed the importance of being detail orientated and organized. While attending school, I realized wanted to work at a firm specializing in Family Law to help others navigate through such a challenging time in their lives. As a Paralegal, I look forward to working with clients and helping them throughout the process of their divorce, custody or child support matters.
In my free time, I like to travel and explore different cities, go to the gym and spend time with my family and friends.
