Kenneth Rhyne Harris, Jr.

Kenneth Rhyne Harris, Jr.

Charlotte, North Carolina
As a remarried Father to five children, including one stepchild, I understand and empathize with the family difficulties and concerns of our clients at Kennedy Law. This background combined with my over fifteen years of legal experience allows me to provide the highest level of representation and advocacy.
After growing up in Charlotte, I attended Duke University, both as an undergraduate and as a law student. I then spent a year as a law clerk for the Honorable Frank Bullock, Jr. in the United States District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina, where I learned about and experienced the inner workings of our Federal court system. After my clerkship, I joined a large firm in Charlotte and practiced commercial litigation for a number of years. As I always had a passion for children and public interest work, I eventually joined the Council for Children’s Rights as a Juvenile Public Defender. After almost a decade defending the rights of children, I made the transition to Family Law. As a member of Kennedy Law Associates, I am now able to use my depth of experience to passionately represent my clients while bringing an understanding and professionalism they deserve.
